Movie Magic Evaluation
I think that good actors is the most important element to movie making because... if you don’t have good actors in your movie , they might giggle in the film without knowing their parts. That might not have enough effect in the movie.
I put a range of camera shots/angles and good editing second because... good editing will give the movie effect and the best soundtracks. I also put a range of camera shots/angles because the best camera shots could make a better movie.
I think the least important element is a flash camera because... not all movies were made with very flash camera. Some were even made with the basics.
Other important elements that aren’t included here are...
- Producers
- Behind the Camera
My biggest lightbulb moment while learning about movie magic was...
Getting to learn different camera shots during the term and the best part was getting to watch movies with different movie genres.

Speeches
Room 8 have been studying Movie Magic. Part of making movies, is speaking clearly. We put this into practice by planning, crafting, practicing and presenting speeches. The topics we chose, were topics that would influence the thinking of others. We hope you enjoy!
Speech Reflection
How did you feel about presenting your speech to the class? I felt really confident about saying my speech because I had my buddy near me.
What was the hardest part about preparing a speech? The hardest part is when practising the speech and when you are writing the speech.
What did you enjoy most about speeches?
I enjoyed the part when I hooked my self into my own speech with of course my buddy too.
How could you improve your speech making next time?I could improve it by trying to add more detail to my speech.
Shade in the squares to give your speech a rating out of TEN: 10/10
